Rangitoto Island Summit Walk
Hop on board a ferry and head to the volcanic island of Mt Rangitoto - Auckland's youngest volcano!
Be sure to wear sturdy footwear, bring plenty of water and make sure you are pest-free before beginning your journey.
This walk requires trekking through lava fields and forest to the peak at 259 metres above sea level. Once you reach the top, soak in the amazing 360 views of Auckland, the Hauraki Gulf and beyond.
